How We Made It

The 5-Step Churning Protocol

  • 1. Cream Sourcing: We select only the highest quality, pasteurized fresh cream to begin the process.
  • 2. Temperature Conditioning: Cream is chilled to the precise optimal temperature for achieving perfect granule consistency.
  • 3. Traditional Churning: The cream is mechanically agitated until the solid butter granules successfully separate from the liquid buttermilk.
  • 4. Washing and Working: The butter is washed, worked to remove excess moisture (buttermilk), and then lightly salted for flavor (or left unsalted).
